Step2 Fun Flow Sink

I was asked to review this cute outdoor sink by the folks at Step2. I was pretty excited! I love outdoor toys and since our playroom abuts a small outdoor patio, I thought it would be a perfect addition to our indoor/outdoor lifestyle.

I imagined using it for the various science experiments, water play and wash ups we do during playdates.

When it arrived I was happy to see that it was sturdy and had a large sink basin that 2-3 children could easily gather around. And, since I didn't quite get the fact that it had an electronic pump, we were all thrilled to see the water recirculate from the sink basin up the tube and out the faucet - oh the possibilities we had now!

I was and still am, quite excited about this toy. It's great but....um...we had a little accident and ended up destroying the pump. Note to self- watch children carefully as they may quite helpfully try to clean up by washing their glitter covered hands in the closest sink....
